August 27- FFA Meeting/Trapshoot 6:00 pm @ Shelby County Trap and Skeet- 1303 Ironwood Rd, Westphalia

•  FFA Chapter will provide pizza for everyone and pay for one round of shells/targets

•  EVERYONE is welcome to attend whether you are shooting or not! It’s a fun night to kick off the year.

September 24- Southwest District Soil Judging @ Armstrong Research Farm, Lewis, IA
October 7- Start FFA Fruit Sales
October 3- Northwest Missouri State University Livestock Judging Contest
October 9- Greenhand Fire-up Camp 4:00 pm @ Atlantic High School (freshmen activity)
October 12- State FFA Soil Judging @ ISU (need to qualify through districts)
October 21- FFA Meeting 6:00 pm in Ag Room/Shop, Pumpkin Carving after meeting
October 29-November 1- National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN- more info to come!!
November 5- Fruit Sale Turn-in Date
November 14- FFA Meeting 6:00 pm in Ag Room, Dodgeball for Recreation in HS Gym
November 16- Leadership Conferences @ Iowa FFA Enrichment Center (interested sophomores/juniors)
December 2- Estimated Fruit Sales Delivery Date
December 12- FFA Meeting 6:00 pm in HS Library, Movie/Game Night/Cookie Decorating
January 13- FFA Meeting 6:00 pm in HS Library, OFFICER ELECTIONS, meal will be provided, everyone please plan on attending
January 29- Iowa Degree and Award Application Review Night, District Officer Candidate Interviews @ Corning High School
February 12- Sub-district FFA Contests 3:00 pm @ IKM-Manning HS, more info to come for those involved, snow date Feb. 12
February 22-29- National FFA Week, more info on activities planned for that week later!
February 25- FFA Meeting 6:00 pm in HS Commons, Recreation TBD
March 7- Southwest District FFA Convention @ Harlan Community Schools, more info to come for those involved, we are
hosting so will need parent help!!
March 19- FFA Awards Banquet 5:30 pm, ALL MEMBERS AND FAMILIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND! SAVE THE DATE!
